The AXIS 207 network Camera is a compact and cost-effective solution for indoor surveillance and remote monitoring. It offers the best bandwidth efficiency and image quality in its class. The high quality, progressive scan CMOS image sensor performs excellent in low light conditions down to 1 lux.

The Axis 207 features MPEG-4 implementation with motion estimation for optimized bandwidth usage. Simultaneous MPEG-4 including audio, Motion JPEG and still image JPEG allow systems to be optimized for both image quality and bandwidth efficiency. A built-in microphone for one-way audio enables remote users to not only view, but also hear intruders or visitors. Its input/output port allows for the control of alarms, doors and locks. Compatibility with PDA’s CellPhones using 3GPP media players, makes it possible to view video directly from handheld devices. With a built-in Web server, the Axis 207 has support for unlimited simultaneous viewers over a standard Ethernet connection. The camera comes with the free Axis Internet Dynamic DNS Service for easy installation.

The product is suited for small businesses, home offices and residences, with potential bandwidth constraints.
